PODUCT FEATURE
The EL2904 terminal has a fail-safe design, where the outputs are controlled by a TwinSAFE Logic-capable component over the Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) protocol.
Safety features: The component automatically switches off if it detects an error and has configurable parameters for safety functions.
Standard outputs: The EL2904 can also activate standard outputs in parallel, which are ANDed with the safe outputs.
Easier maintenance: Safety parameters are stored on the TwinSAFE Logic component, simplifying maintenance and replacement of the terminal.
